Interiors Before & After

Project:
Guest Room  / Interior Design
Townhouse SW London

My clients' brief for this room was to create a boutique style guest room in their London Townhouse.

They were happy to trust
me using a deep wall colour which also supports the beautiful metal fireplace. The wall colour is carried through into the en-suite with accents of colour in the bedroom collected in the lampshades, ginger jars, leather bound books and the custom re-upholstered chairs.

This room is such a good example of how strong colours work to create a luxurious feel. Stunning end result with guests loving it too!

Project:
Drawing Room / Interior Design
Townhouse SW London

This Drawing Room was a perfect example of the wrong wall colour throwing everything in the room off. My clients thought the wall colour was gray but infact the blue in the gray was to prominent causing a strong sense of coldness.

Despite my clients buying various furniture items to make the room more inviting..nothing seemed to work. The drawing room still felt cold and consequently my clients did not use the room at all.

I set about the transformation.... The first thing I did was to change the wall colour to a colour which provided the warmth they and the room desired and because they no longer liked the association with the old furniture, custom made sofas and chairs I recommended, including the new coffee table, and four standard lamps (solving the need for side tables) took up residence and the space became inviting, stylish and very comfortable.

One of my best compliments as a Interior Designer was to hear how they enjoyed the 'new' Drawing Room on a daily basis as did their teenage daughter. Family times were restored!

Project:
Recording Studio SW London Interior Design

My client is a very sucessful Grammy Award winning Record Producer & Songwriter.

My brief was to re-design the studio interiors as well turning the reception area from an office into a 'hang out' room for the musicians to use in-between their recording time in the studio.

The key here was for my interior design to sit gently alongside the creative energy that takes place in each recording session & also visually supporting the music that is being written & recorded in the studio by just looking good & feeling even better!

Design can be quiet in its power!
